Ca' della Brico'la (The Smugglers' Bag House) is a more "secretive" bedroom with numerous hiding spots. Hung up as forgotten there, the bricola is the traditional bag through which the smugglers illegally imported various goods (mainly cigarettes and coffee). The bricola, as well as the pedui (slippers), used to be sewn directly on the mountain by the smuggler, who for necessity improvised with needle work.
The 16 sq meters room is built on two levels, with wood flooring and a private bathroom featuring a very unique hand-carved stone sink. It has a double bed, a single bed and a bunked bed. An abundant breakfast rigorously made with local products completes your experience at Contrada Beltramelli.
