The old barn has been restored with characteristic materials and has been turned into two special bedrooms, whose names recall the ancient activity typical of this border region: smuggling. For many decades, men and women of the valley have been challenging the passages over the mountains along the hidden smuggling routes.
Contrada Beltramelli feels compelled to acknowledge the smugglers that over the years have been passing through its ground.
The theme of the rooms has been created taking inspiration from the eternal dichotomy between the hunters and the hunted, two opposite forces giving rise to each other through their interrelation.

Ca' della brico’la

Ca' della Brico'la (The Smugglers' Bag House) is a more "secretive" bedroom with numerous hiding spots. Hung up as forgotten there, the bricola is the traditional bag through which the smugglers illegally imported various goods (mainly cigarettes and coffee). The bricola, as well as the pedui (slippers), used to be sewn directly on the mountain by the smuggler, who for necessity improvised with needle work.

Ca' della guardia

3 - 4 people 16mq
Ca' della Guardia (The Guard's House) is a very sunny bedroom, with wide windows overlooking the surroundings. The guard performs border control and keeps under surveillance the smugglers, his alter egos in the lengthy Swiss-Italian border history.
